Driftwood and Shadows

I thought that I would start off the new year with an image from one of my favorite locations; Big Talbot Island, Florida. It is one of only a few undeveloped barrier islands left along the Atlantic Coast. Wind and wave action have eroded the shoreline and sculpted the eastern appearance of the island. The power of this dynamic action has created a bluff of up to thirty feet. The driftwood sculptures evolve with the tide and provide amazing photo opportunities.
