Painswick Post Office

Painswick is quite often referred to as the Queen of the Cotswolds and is one of the prettiest of the ancient Cotswold villages. Even the Painswick Post Office, characterized by its buildings of pale grey limestone, has maintained its unspoiled charm, all the while performing necessary services for its citizens.

  1. Fantastic image, Barbara, I love the stonework in these old buildings. You can almost hear the stories that are held within those stones, all the people who’ve left their impressions behind. I LOVE that little red Post Office sign in the upper left there… what a great element of interest!!
