Sea Gulls

Sea Gulls

They’re not always boisterous and annoying.  When they’re absent from the beach, I miss their squawks, their begging for food and I miss seeing their synchronized flights over the ocean.  And then they rest quietly on the sand in a giant group, all facing in the same direction.  I like that; but it doesn’t last long.

Friday Night

Parrot in the Park

We found this character while we were strolling through the charming, tree-lined streets of the Greek island of Rhodes.  He was loud, bossy, intrusive and self-centered.  He was also a ham and therefore the perfect subject for my photographs!  You’ll probably see more of him and his friends in the future.

It’s good to be home again.  Happy Thanksgiving!
