Sydney Reflections

Reflections of Sydney

Although Sydney is best known for its harbourfront and hubs of waterside life, the city’s ever evolving skyscrapers, provide spectacular skyline views.  Beautiful abstract compositions on glass and chrome were naturally enhanced by warm, golden hour light. Yep, I was lucky that night!

Impressions of an Opera House

Sometimes an iconic piece of art, such as the Sydney Opera House, evokes emotions and impressions which must be conveyed in a photographer's image. I loved the magic of this place!

Sailing Sydney Harbour

Sailing-Sydney-Harbour
Hop a ferry from Manly to Sydney Harbour at twilight. If you’re lucky (and we were), you’ll catch a glimpse of the sailors of the Manly Yacht Club sailing and racing around Sydney Harbour. I’ll always remember it as a harbour dance performed just for us!

Bondi Sculpture

Bondi-Sculpture
A 20 minute ride from Sydney, Bondi Beach, with its surfing subculture, is the picturesque destination for sculpted rocks, towering cliffs and free spirits, both real and imagined.
Sculpture by the Sea – the coastal walk and outdoor exhibition stretching between Bondi and Tamarama – was just opening the weekend we arrived.
The sculptures were perfectly framed by Australia’s natural landscapes and breathtaking vistas. It was, for me, a harmonious existence between manmade art and the nature-made cliffs of Bondi.
