They’re not always boisterous and annoying.  When they’re absent from the beach, I miss their squawks, their begging for food and I miss seeing their synchronized flights over the ocean.  And then they rest quietly on the sand in a giant group, all facing in the same direction.  I like that; but it doesn’t last long.

Peggy’s Cove Sentinal

This winged purveyor of peace, caught my eye as I precariously negotiated the granite outcroppings scattered around this beautiful setting. The small rural hamlet of Peggy's Cove is home to Peggy's Point Lighthouse and other less stationary attractions.
