Neglecting to remain on your side of the bridge is life threatening!  Of course, it’s very easy to veer to the ‘wrong’ side of the Brooklyn Bridge walk-way.  Sometimes you encounter a biker who is just bigger than life and you know that you and your camera are treading on very dangerous (wrong-way) ground.

The vibrant colors, the music and the electricity in the air, were hypnotizing and drew this photographer from one captivating scene to another.  I tried to absorb as much as I could and was grateful for my camera so that I could capture this magic forever.

These beloved and respected cats are generally given free reign of the city. The care and management of these feral fur-balls, numbering in the hundreds of thousands, often falls on the shoulders of volunteer organizations and well-meaning citizens. The revered status of cats in this corner of the world can be summed up in the popular saying, “If you’ve killed a cat, you need to build a mosque to be forgiven by God.”
